This bathroom got a strange makeover in the ‘70s with a bathing situation that couldn’t commit to being a bath or a shower. Layout challenges had the growing family thinking there was no way to get both a bath and shower, let alone create an earthy European-inspired retreat. Without losing sight of that connection to natural materials, our goals were to create a space that felt both tailored and whimsical, balancing masculine and feminine.
